I love to eat. Not sure if that qualifies me as a "foodie" but sometimes I call myself one. Lately, my new favorite thing is to go out for breakfast every Saturday morning with my husband & son and eat whatever I want. :-)
quaint (kwānt)
adj. quaint·er, quaint·est
1. Charmingly odd, especially in an old-fashioned way: "Sarah Orne Jewett . . . was dismissed by one critic as merely a New England old maid who wrote quaint, plotless sketches of late 19th-century coastal Maine"(James McManus).
2. Unfamiliar or unusual in character; strange: quaint dialect words. See Synonyms at strange.
3. Cleverly made; artful.

According to the definition above it could be interpreted as negative or critical. Odd or unusual. But keep in mind when I use quaint in reference to the places I enjoy getting breakfast, I am referring to a mix of definitions 1 & 3. Charming & clever. The array of breakfast joints around Lancaster City is charming & clever, trust me.
Because I'm so in love with food, breakfast, Lancaster City, & these quaint spots around Lancaster City I've felt inspired to tackle a new project: Lancaster City Breakfast Tour. My plan is to visit & revisit all restaurants & cafes around Downtown Lancaster then blog about my breakfast experience at each of them. Complete with pictures & anecdotes. I hope that you'll follow along with me & find a new favorite breakfast spot in the process! ;-)
