Nothing fancy. Just a simple tomato bisque recipe to enjoy on a cold December day when you don't feel like making something complicated.
I'll tell you, it's hard to navigate through a recipe when it's not your normal kitchen. At the beach house I had to use this unfamiliar blender and unfamiliar can opener that took me forever to figure out. Plus I never know where anything is and if we have half the ingredients that the recipe calls for.
But I'll stop complaining because the soup turned out great and it was worth the minor amount of trouble.
2 cans of stewed tomatoes (14.5 oz each)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon basil or italian seasoning
1 tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of salt
Directions:
Puree cans of stewed tomatoes in food processor or blender
Place in medium sauce pan.
Bring to a boil, then lower heat.
Stir cream & butter.
Stir in seasoning.
Serve.
Found the perfect soup bowl! to enjoy my delicious creation in.
Paired this with leftover Turkey Joe! Great meal!

That sure is the perfect soup mug for this creation.
BTW...I didn't think there was a blender in the MB house!
